CANDY CRUSH SCAM!!! MUST READ!!

If you or any of your friends play Candy Crush Saga, be on the lookout for this scam page that has gone viral. Scammers often use the promise of special items or cheats for popular Facebook games to lure in unsuspecting users. Always be extra suspicious of any such offers!

The Candy Crush Saga rogue fanpage (that claims to be the official Candy Crush Saga page) is still going strong. Their fan count is now up to 52K and they are using a redirect (from a recently purchased domain = July 11, 2013) to a Woobox static tab. Another rogue page = Candy Crush Saga Rewards (joined Facebook on April 27, 2013) is now up to 78K fans (105,828 talking about this) and also uses a Woobox static tab. They also use the ‪#‎FreeExtraLife‬ hashtag.

The "Candy Crush Saga unlock all levels" rogue fanpage last posted on Thursday and that particular post now has almost 30K shares, 9,714 comments, and 18,174 people that like that post. If you add that up - you can only begin to guess what these rogue pages are up to.

Warn your Candy Crush addicted friends to stay away from the "Candy Crush Saga Unlock All Levels" & "Candy Crush Saga Rewards" fan pages. There is no telling what level of badware is dumping down into their browsers or computers. We only know that the IP associated with their current domain: 199.59.63.123 is hosting 502 other shady sites. We tagged Woobox hoping that they will check into this scam and shut these rogue tabs down.

With all the candy-crazed-candy-crushed lovers out there, they should be checking that the page is "official" & "verified" (has a blue checkmark) before going off and following rogue instructions from shady pages.

Make sure to pass along to all of your gaming friends!!
