Say what you want about "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and its subject family, but they clearly all adore and appreciate one another. Case in point? The wedding of Mama June and Sugar Bear on the season finale, which brought many a tear to an eye, both redneck and white collar alike.
Highlights of the event, which went down in May but was televised last on September 12, included a whole lot of camouflage, Mama June losing her veil (thankfully, Honey Boo Boo herself, Alanna, found it for her), and June insisting on making the baked beans for the party herself, despite having a caterer.
Another adorable surprise? Sugar Bear was banned from the house the night before the wedding, with June forcing him to sleep in a tent in the backyard during a downpour, and he didn't even complain. (That’s a truly good husband.) Sugar Bear also bought a new pair of “manties” for the wedding, with “Property of June” emblazoned across the backside.
The couple wrote their own vows for the simple but moving ceremony. June began, “We've been together nine years, we've been through a lot. I'm not saying that none of us are perfect. I do love you, I do care about you.”
Sugar Bear gazed at June lovingly and said, “I just want to start over fresh. Make this family a whole family.”
And then we all cried into our go-go juice.
